Love One Another

John 15:12-17

Introduction

  • The last words a person speaks are important.
  • In John 15, we have part of Jesus’ farewell address. His death on the cross is about to take place.
  • Jesus shares with his disciples the things that are of most importance.
  • He tells his disciples to love one another. This message echoes down to followers of Christ today.
  • What is the trademark of Christianity? It’s not heated debates or lengthy discussions. Our faith is marked by love.
  • 1 Corinthians 13:13 – “And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
