 To know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us… (Ephesians 3:19-20)

Head

• Read Luke 1:5-25. Can you retell it in your own words?
• Why do you suppose it was so concerning for Zechariah and Elizabeth not to have children?
• How would you have responded if Gabriel had visited you with this news?
• Why do you think Zechariah’s “punishment” for not believing was to be made silent?

Heart

• What concerns do you have about your life today? Are they drawing you closer to or pushing you further away from God?
• Read Ephesians 3:14-21. How do you feel about God being able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine?
• How do you begin to reconcile that God can do anything with the presence of suffering?

• How will the truth that “God is able” shape how you live this week?
