Discussion Questions

Head

• Compare and contrast characteristics of true/good shepherds and fake shepherds as described in John 10:1-18.
• In which ways do you feel like a sheep and why? How about a shepherd and why?
• What connections regarding sheep and shepherds do you draw between John 10:1-18 and 1 Peter 5:1-11?

Heart

• Describe the heart of Jesus, our Good Shepherd.
• How do you see this heart developing in yourself?
• Read Matthew 9:37-38. Who do you see in your church family looking like Jesus, our Good Shepherd?

Hands

• Think about the names of the people who you see looking like Jesus, the Good Shepherd. Could God be using you to shine light on them as current or future spiritual leaders in Jesus’ church? Email their names and what you see in them to Pastor Tim at [email protected].
