If Jesus is the Cornerstone…

Old Testament/Covenant -> New Testament/Covenant (Mt 5:17–18; Jn 1:9-18; Heb 9:15)

Key Question: How am I (are we) marked by grace and truth?

Dead to Sin and Self -> Alive in Christ (2 Cor 5:17; Ro 6:1-11)

Key Question: What needs to die in me (us) and what newness of life do I (we) need to embrace to get in step with the Spirit?

One Tribe -> All Nations (Ac 2:37–39; Ga 3:28)

Key question: Who am I (are we) leaning into that isn’t like me (us)?

Exclusivity -> Inclusivity (Jn 3:17–19; Lk 5:27-32; Rev 21:5-7)

Key question: Am I (Are we) for everyone knowing Jesus through me (us)?

  • In the sermon, we heard how Jesus being the cornerstone of us changes the trajectory of the church, individually and collectively. Reflect and discuss each of the questions below.
