DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

Head

  • How do you think foreigners and strangers differ from citizens and members of a household (family)?
  • What recent story/stories of “foreigners and strangers” could you use to share the point of this passage, today?
  • Where do you see Jesus being the chief cornerstone in your everyday life? Where do you not see it?

Heart

  • How does it feel to belong to a group with whom you share something in common?
  • Describe the energy when all of the bricks (people) of your group “fit” together. When they aren’t “fitting” together.
  • How is life together with other believers different from life alone with just you and Jesus?
