What Must I Do to Inherit Eternal Life?

Series: I Have a Question – Part 2

Mark 10:17-31

In your lives you must think and act like Christ Jesus. (Philippians 2:5, NCV)

Don’t you realize that it is God’s kindness that is trying to lead you to him and change the way you think and act? (Romans 2:4, GWT)

Since then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.  (Colossians 3:1-3, NIV)

1. Check your heart.

“Those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs.” (Jonah 2:8, NIV)

2. Be kinder than you have to be.

3. Go the extra mile.

If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles. (Matthew 5:41, NIV)
