A Call to Surrender to Jesus as Lord (Luke 1-2): Through the examples of Mary (“I am the Lord’s servant”) the text calls for absolute obedience and submission to God’s plan, even when it is difficult or misunderstood.

In Fact God has a habit of putting holy things in filthy places (if he didn’t you wouldn’t be saved today)

3. A Call to Repentance and Public Action (Luke 3): John the Baptist calls for a “repentance” that is not merely mental, but produces fruit through active obedience—reordering life to fit God’s standards, which prepares the way for the Lord.
