Manifesting God’s Blessing
John 15:1-8
Introduction: Worship after the Pandemic should create a change of focus from just going to church to becoming the church. Our tongues can be used for religion or used to create relationships. This relationship with Christ is now God’s focus for us to manifest within the earth. God has called us to produce Fruit. Every person that’s serious about their walk with God and about Bearing Fruit this is how to do it. This is an important message for the movement of the church. God’s desire is to create Blessings through the church; which is why I’m teaching us this because He has created us to be the Blessing. These verses identify four things about what kind of fruit you can bear. In vs. 2 it talks about no fruit. In vs. 2 it also talks about some fruit. In vs. 2 it then talks about more fruit and vs. 8 talks about much fruit. What kind of fruit are you bearing? Vs. 8 says God is glorified when you bear much fruit. The problem is many have become content and satisfied with bearing no fruit. When was the last time we have won someone over to Jesus because of your life, because of your testimony, or how you’ve treated that person or lived before them. God wants to use us to win someone over to the Kingdom of God. This is how God is Glorified when people see in us something different that’s inside of us that makes them want to serve the same God that we’re serving. There are eight principles I want to give us to Manifest God’s Blessing
A Process of Bearing Fruit – B.L.E.S.S.
- The Power of the True Vine and the Vinedresser.
- Jesus is the true Vine. The Father is the Vinedresser
- Some are connected to a false vine.
- The Branch is connected to the Vine. You draw your nutrients, and strength from the Vine
- Some are drawing their life, focus, purpose, and reason for life from stuff that is not good to draw from. (Ex. Cares of this world: Work, money, buying stuff and things) it dies, don’t give life
- Jesus says when you have a relationship with me
- When were connected He gives us a reason to live
- He makes your life worth living
- John 10:10 I come that you might have life
- The Father is the Vine Dresser
- He’s the Gardener, He protects the garden, weeds the garden, and take stuff out of the garden.
- We serve a God who is capable of doing His Job
- Ephesians 1:3
- There is not a question that our God is not able to provide and take care of ALL of our needs.
- The problem is point 2
- The Danger of Being an Unproductive Branch vs.2
- Matthew 5:13-16
- No souls, No salt
- Mark 11:12-14, 20-24
- The old church had to work hard to get us where we are
- Just because we did things back then doesn’t mean we stop bearing fruit. Vs. 2
- The Pruning: is the process of cutting away dead or overgrown branches or stems to promote healthy plant growth.
- The Vinedresser examines the branches, and any Branch that has something on it that is not conducive for it to bear fruit, whatever it is that has connected itself to the Branch that’s not good for it, he cuts it off.
- Some don’t understand why they lost their job. What they are going through, why they left out of your life, why stuff is not going well, God is pruning stuff away from us so we can produce more fruit.
- Things that are in our life is not always beneficial for us, you like them, you want them, but it’s not good for you
- We’re in a Pruning Process
- Some stuff is good, some stuff is bad
- Some stuff looks good to us but it’s not good for us because it’s keeping us from praying and developing our walk with the Father
- He cuts bad stuff away and He also cuts good stuff away. There’s some stuff that’s in our life that is not bad in it itself, it’s good, we like it but He had to take it away because it’s causing us to stop depending on Him, He had to take it away because He said there will be no other God before Him.
- Here’s what we need to see instead of getting mad or bitter that’s he’s pruning us, get glad and praise Him because if He is pruning you it means I’m in His vineyard. I’m glad I’m in the vineyard.
- He could’ve just let the weeds take over
- Some things that God pruned out that we were mad about at the moment but years later We Thank God He took them out. Primary Reason: So I could bear more fruit
- God doesn’t want us to stay in an Unproductive state
- He wants us to produce fruit. Somebody should see enough Jesus in us to want to get right.
- There is no one that’s perfect. We all have sin sickness.
- Romans 3:23
- 1 Timothy 1:12-17
- The church is a hospital for sick people
- We all are a work in progress
- Philippians 3:12
- Being Not Perfect is what makes the Church great and the people of God Great because, without Jesus, we are nothing, but with Jesus, we can do all things.
- Not abiding in the Vine
- Our relationship with Christ
- We have a good church relationship but don’t have a good Christ relationship
- Good Christ relationship is we can live peaceably with all men (Romans 12:18)
- He will make even your enemies be at peace with you (Proverbs 16:7)
- If there’s conflict and issues God is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33)
- Hymnal Says: Get right with God and do it now, Get Right with God and he will show you how
- Get right or he will cast you out
- Cast out
- Matthew 7:21-23
- Matthew 22:11-14
- Matthew 25:29-30
- The Blessing of Being A Productive Branch vs. 8
- We’re pruned to be productive
- Vs. 8
- Ask what you desire (John 14:12-14)
- A right relationship will show God answering our prayers even before we ask Him
- He works miracles on our behalf
- He answers our prayers
- Manifesting the Blessing
- Manifest means to display or show quality or feeling by one’s acts or appearance; to demonstrate.
- My desire is to see us create a movement in our church where our members are reaching the people and winning them to the Kingdom of God.
- We’re Not Catfishing
- Not so heavenly minded that we’re no earthly good (praise the Lord, Hallelujah)
- Let’s be Real People that’s Walking With the King
- A Process for Bearing Fruit – B.L.E.S.S.
- I’m challenging you to apply this
- B– Begin with Prayer
- L– Listen to Them
- E– Encourage & Exhort
- S– Serve a Need That They Have
- S– Share Your Story, Witness, Testimony
- Connection to the Blessing
- I believe there are people in your life that you can pray for every day
- Write down some names that you know they need Jesus in their life (lost soul, relatives, coworkers, etc.)
