From Then to Now
Luke 24:36-53
The building process- in which you take something that exists conceptually and bring it to physical manifestation- it is a process fraught with unforeseen challenges. Whenever anything is built outsiders look on the finished product and Gaze on its beauty. But the one who built it often has a different reaction. That person looks at the same finished product and sees all the challenges and work that went into completing it.

- Faith that my whole life is in God’s hands
- Confidence: God will produce His Promise

- Focusing my Faith Past what I see
- 2 Cor. 4:18 While we look not at the things that are seen but at the things which are not seen for The things that are seen are temporal, but the things that are not seen are eternal.

- Facing and Overcoming my Fears
- Maturing in the strength of my faith
- Preserve: maintain something in its original or existing state
- Preserving through the frustrations of the building process is what takes faith and focus to the next level

- Habakkuk 2:2-3 The Lord answered me and said, “Write the vision and make it plain that he may run who reads. For the vision is yet for an appointed time but at the end, it will speak and it will not lie. Though it tarries wait for it because it will surely come it will not tarry
- We don’t need faith to praise God when we get to the designated place for us we need faith to praise God while we are in motion, on the way, on the journey, headed to the destination

- God is most concerned about our beliefs. If you believe its accounted as righteousness
- Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God
- The enemy is after your head
- We live from a heart place but leave our heads uncovered
- No robber robs an empty house
- The level of the battle is an indicator of the level of the blessing
- 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 Weapons of our warfare
- The Enemy wants to come against your freedom of what we know
- Fights with his imaginations (what if’s & supposes)
- You can’t live by how you feel instead tell the devil what you know (Take It By Force)
- Psalm 119:11-16 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy statutes. With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth. I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches. I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways. I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
- The Biggest Fight of Your Life will be between your 2 ears
- We wake up exhausted because we fight all night
- Many are the afflictions of the righteous
- The Fight is Part of the Process (Much is Given)
- In the end, I want to say as Paul said to Timothy I Fought a Good Fight, I’ve Finished My Course
- I’m Climbing This Cliff

- Jonathan took the fight to the Giants instead of always standing back waiting on the Giant to Fight you
- Jesus was telling the Disciples the Time is Now, It’s Your Time

- You just cant study the event you got to share at the event
- You can not Mediate with something you don’t associate with
- There is One God, One Mediator between God and Men There Has to Be a MAN
- He can be touched with the feelings of my infirmities because He started out where I was
- You cannot redeem what you can’t touch (we’re so isolated from the people that need us the most)
- The best way to become irrelevant is to become so untouchable that you can’t relate
- You cannot touch healing if you have never been sick
- You cannot touch prosperity if you have never been broke
- Not that you don’t know the principles, you don’t know the audience
- Whenever God sent deliverance He sent from among them
- When he decided to deliver humanity, He couldn’t do it from heaven, He needed to have one born from among us, walk as we walk, feel like we felt: feel what it feels like to be hungry, need rest, burdened down & weary
- John 1:1, 14 In the Beginning We have seen His Glory, the glory of the one and only who came from the Father full of grace and truth. SO God put himself back to school , wrapped himself in flesh , went to Mary University, came out of her wound, dwelt among us so he could touch the tests of adversity, went through 30 years among us, 3 years of ministry, hung a hours on a cross, went to a grave so he could know what dead felt like, rose up on on the third day and set it in heavenly places so we could have a representative
- Job 9:32-33 He is not a man like me that I might answer him/that we might confront each other in court/if only there was someone to arbitrate between us/ to lay his hand upon us both One that can relate (it’s a dangerous thing to have a representative that cant relate
- Relate: my moans, my groans, my tears, my fears
- Representation: man enough to represent you God Enough to talk about you
- The Principle: God Raises People from here to there
- God is Passing the Mantel like Elijah / elisha

- I shall make thy way prosperous and though shall have good success because Im with you wherever you go
- Isaiah 43: 18-21 Remember ye not the former things neither consider the things of old. Behold I do a new thing, NOW it shall spring forth shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert to give drink to my chosen people. This people have I formed for myself they shall shew forth my praise.
