The Negative of going back to Again Again: returning to a previous place, position or condition Could: used as a past tense of can when it means that someone had the ability to do something or that something was possible Notice Peter & Disciples Temptation to go back to what was. Albert Einstein defined Insanity” as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results” Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. I. REALIZE THE DANGER OF Weariness TO BECOME WEARY MEANS TO BE BEATEN OUT, WORN OUT, AND DISCOURAGED. A. Three Things About Weariness It Wants You to Submit To Carnality It Wants You to Soften The Convictions It Wants You to Stay in Bondage What Giving Up Does in the Weariness It Discredits It Discourages It Destroys It Disconnects The reality of realizing what you thought you had to feel off of, was nothing and the way you feel right now is really amounting to nothing (Nothing from Nothing Leads to Nothing) Do you love what your holding from your past more than what God is wanting to give you for your future Vs. 15 You holding your past Philippians 3:8-13, 14 Count past as dung (wasting time) That I may know him & the power of His Resurrection & Fellowship of His Suffering Haven’t got it yet (Don’t Trip He ain’t through with me yet) What I have to do to get through: I’m forgetting what was behind Dealing with what’s in front Pressing forward towards the mark Trouble is holding your present 2 Corinthians 4:7-9, 15-16 but we have this treasure in earthen vessels that the excellency of the power may be of God and not of us. For all things are for our sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God. Matthew 16:24-25 if any man will come after me let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it and whosoever shall lose his life for my sake shall find it. If I could have said more no’s to self If I could get self together Know there will be a cross to bare I’ve been whipped by attitudes Tribulation| Patience| Character| Hope| Glory wont dissappoint God is holding your future Romans 8:18 For I reckon this present suffering is not worthy to be compared to the glory Again Was Designed to Bring You to Your Senses The Process Self-Realization (Look at Who I Am) Situational Revelation (Look at Where I Am) Spiritual Recalibration (Look at Where I Am Going) Cast Your Vision and Desires on the Right Side Gather all your hurt, frustrations, feelings and desires and bring them to Him Jn 21:10-15 Do you love talking about your pain more than what I said about your pain “God so loved that He Gave Use it to feed somebody that’s a whosoever (don’t see their value or purpose) Do you love living in the hurt more than seeing me through the hurt Help somebody that’s a sheep: someone who is easily influenced or led. Urban- someone who mindlessly follows and emulates anything and everything they can get around. Just to be loved. It’s One Thing for God to Save You in some Stuff its Another Thing when He Uses your Stuff to Deliver You Out Peter remembered how many times Jesus saved him just to turn around and let him down There must be a cross-stage before there can be a resurrection I’M GOING TO THE RESTORE YOU TO YOUR RIGHTFUL PLACE Humility Brings You Back Relationally Not Positionally The Father Still Loved Me, In Spite of Me Your Father’s Covering Your Father’s Covenant Your Father’s Confirmation Save PDF Locally Click to save a copy of the filled-in notes to a PDF file on your device Generate File Click to View PDF Save PDF to Google Drive Click to save a copy of the filled-in notes to a PDF file on your Google Drive account(For Apple devices, use Chrome browser or go to SETTINGS>SAFARI and uncheck BLOCK POPUPS.)
