Run With Endurance – “Into the Harvest”

Hebrews 12:1 NKJV – Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us

The harvest is a lot of .

Matthew 9:35-38 NIV – Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

1. Love .

Matthew 22:36-38 NIV – “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment.

Romans 12:1 NIV – Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

Romans 12:11 NIV – Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.

Matthew 22:39-40 NIV – And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Psalm 26:8 NKJV – Lord, I have loved the habitation of Your house, and the place where Your glory dwells.

Psalm 122:1 NKJV – I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the Lord.”

4. Pursue .

Colossians 3:23-24 NIV – Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

5. Choose .

John 4:36 NLT – The fruit they harvest is people brought to eternal life. What joy awaits both the planter and the harvester alike!

Philippians 2:14-15 ESV – Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world
