None of us knows what is going to happen, and there is no one to tell us.”

6 STEPS TO HELP YOU DISCERN THE BEST TIME FOR A MAJOR CHANGE

1. Enlist the of other people.Romans 15:30 (NCV) “Brothers and sisters, I beg you to help me in my work by praying to God for me.”1 John 5:14–15 (NIV) This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.James 5:16 (NIV) …The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

2. Seek the of wise friends.Proverbs 11:14 (AMP) “Where there is no wise guidance people fall, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.”Proverbs 12:15 (NLT) “Fools think they need no advice, but the wise person listens to the advice of others.”

3. Be and to God in His Word.1 Kings 19:11–12 (NIV) The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.” Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. “PURPOSE” takes place the second and fourth Sunday of every month at 11:30 am at the Nampa Civic Center.
