John 10:3-4 (NIV) “The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. “God doesn’t have a speaking problem. 4 TESTS FOR RECOGNIZING GOD’S VOICE
1. Does it line up with the ?
Hebrews 4:12 (NIV) For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. 2 Timothy 3:16–17 (NIV) All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2. Will it make me more like ?
2 Corinthians 10:5 (NIV) We take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.Philippians 2:5 (NCV) In your lives you must think and act like Christ Jesus.
