(…) Our Call To Love Well
January 19, 2025“Jesus, undeterred, went right ahead and gave his charge: “God authorized and commanded me to commission you: Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I’ll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age.””
Matthew 28:18-20 MSG
GO- “Having gone” or “ you go…”
2 Corinthians 5:14-15 (The Message):
“Christ’s love has moved me to such extremes. His love has the first and last word in everything we do. Our firm decision is to work from this focused center: One man died for everyone. That puts everyone in the same boat.”
Have you ever had a moment where you just had to do something?
What was behind that urge?
Jesus command?
Mark 12:30-31
30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
John 13:34-35
34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
As you go…
Wherever you find yourself in life, you are called to embody love.
5 Spaces of Life

When you are compelled by love, you are not going out of or duty but because the love of Christ has filled you so completely that you cannot help but share it.
We are to bring the love of Jesus into the places of humanity.
“God has given us the task of telling everyone what He is doing. We’re Christ’s representatives. God wants us to join him in seeing everything made new. Now.”
So we go into the world to:
- the broken
- Heal the
- what is divided
What does it look like for you to be the hands and feet of Jesus in every space?
- In sacred spaces, you worship and grow in love for God so that you can pour that love out to others.
- In intimate spaces, you love your family and close friends with grace and forgiveness.
- In personal spaces, you invest in relationships that lead to discipleship and encouragement.
- In social spaces, you love your neighbors and coworkers by living as an example of Christ.
- In public spaces, you boldly demonstrate God’s love for the world through justice, compassion, and truth.
Have you experienced a love that moves you?
