We are called to Invite everyone, everywhere, into a transforming relationship with Jesus every day.

Simple Reminders: You have a reason to praise

June 9, 2024

Ok, let’s talk about life…

What has life been like for you?

Luke 17:11-19
‘Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!” When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed.

One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.

I hope that our praise is as as our .

What do I need to return to thank Jesus for?

Do we want just what Jesus give?

Luke 17:18-19
Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.” ‘

9 Lepers:
Whole Bodies —- Hearts

Do we want Jesus for He is?

In Him, I find wholeness.

1 Leper (A Samaritan)
Whole Body – Heart

Luke 17:19
Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.” ‘

How often do you pause to give thanks?

Are you like the nine who received the blessing but forgot to return and express their gratitude?

Or are you like the one who came back, recognizing the source of his healing and gave Him thanks?

Can we let gratitude be a rhythm in our lives?
