“Hope”

Matthew 12:20-21 A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he has brought justice through to victory. In his name the nations will put their hope.

1. Find the source before it kills you.

Psalm 146:3-4

Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save. When their spirit departs, they return to the ground; on that very day their plans come to nothing.

2. Fill to overflowing.

Romans 5:5

And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

3. Feed your faith not your fear.

Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
