“Becoming a Disciple of Jesus”

Discipleship is an ongoing process of becoming more like Christ and inviting others into that journey.

Three key aspects of discipleship:

1. Know who you are in Christ

“Strip yourselves of your former nature, Put off the old. Put on the new.” (Eph. 4:22)

1. You reproduce who you are

“Follow my example as I follow the example of Christ.” (1 Cor. 11:1)

1. Discipleship happens in relationships.

“Join together in following my example, brothers, and take note of those who live according to the pattern we gave you.” (Phil. 3:17)
