“Hunger to Feed & Follow”

– Is the spiritual journey of – knowing Jesus as your Savior, committedly learning and growing to obediently ; and therefore, living and sharing your faith, that others would come to know Him.

“Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

(Matt. 28:19-20)

Who are you becoming?

Discipleship:

1. Builds Strong Godly People

2. That Seek to Be Like Jesus

3. And Live Out Their Faith Like Him

  1. for the Things of God.

“Jesus said to them, ʻI am the bread of life; whoever comes to Me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in Me shall never thirst.’” (John 6:35)

a. Hunger for His .

“So, Jesus said to the Jews who had believed Him, ‘If you abide in My word, you are truly My disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’” (John 8:31-32)

b. His Word.

“How sweet are Your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!” (Ps. 119:103)

  1. Hunger to Jesus.

“Then He said to them all: ‘Whoever wants to be My disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow Me.’” (Luke 9:23)

Deny Ourselves – To turn from the things and temptations of the world.

Take Up Our Cross – To fully surrender to God and live a life of obedience and sacrifice.

“And immediately there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit. And he cried out, ʻWhat have You to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are – the Holy One of God.’” (Mark 1:23-24)

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.” (Matt. 5:6)
