God Has Not Forgotten You

April 29, 2023

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

(John 16:33)

1. You Are Not Forgotten.

“How long, O LORD? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?” (Ps. 13:1)

“I have trusted in Your mercy, my heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. I will sing to the LORD, because He has dealt bountifully with me.” (Ps. 13:5-6)

Don’t let your mind tell you what to do. Let the Bible tell you what to do.

2. God Has Not Forgotten You When Life Seems Uncertain.

“The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD” (Job 1:21).

“Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?” (Job 2:10)

“Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him” (Job 13:15).

“I know that my Redeemer lives, and He shall stand at last on the earth; and after my skin is destroyed, this I know, that in my flesh I shall see God.” (Job 19:25–26)

“He knows the way that I take; when He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.” (Job 23:10)

3. WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU FEEL FORGOTTEN.

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matt. 5:16)
