God Knows Better than You and I

“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isa. 55:9)

1. Come

“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matt. 11:28-30)

Five Ways to Daily Come to the Lord:

A. 

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Thess. 5:16-18)

B. 

“For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.” (1 Tim. 4:8)

C. 

“Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” (Prov. 16:3)

“Wisdom is supreme; so acquire wisdom. And whatever you may acquire, gain understanding.” (Prov. 4:7)

E. 

“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” (Ps. 119:105)

2. Choose today who  

“Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living.” (Rom. 6:16)
