“Mountain-Top Faith”

November 5, 2022 / Pastor Wayne Cordeiro

“After six days Jesus took Peter, James and John with Him and led them up a high mountain, where they were all alone. There He was transfigured before them. His clothes became dazzling white, whiter than anyone in the world could bleach them. And there appeared before them Elijah and Moses, who were talking with Jesus. Peter said to Jesus, ‘Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters – one for You, one for Moses and one for Elijah.’ Then a cloud appeared and covered them, and a voice came from the cloud: ‘This is My Son, whom I love. Listen to Him!’ Suddenly, when they looked around, they no longer saw anyone with them except Jesus.”

(Mark 9:2-8)

“If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.” (Matt. 16:24)

“Five times I received from the Jews 39 lashes. Three times beaten with rods; once I was pelted with stones, three times I was shipwrecked, I spent a night and a day in the open sea, I have been constantly on the move …  I have labored and toiled and have often gone without sleep; I have known hunger and thirst and have often gone without food.” (2 Cor. 11:24-27)

“If you confess with your mouth Jesus Christ as LORD, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.” (Rom. 10:9)

If we are going to make a difference in our world in this decade, this generation must have a commitment and dedication no other generation has ever had!
