How Not to Give Up, but to Give Over

“There is a time for everything,

and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die;” (Eccles. 3:1-2)

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – His good, pleasing and perfect will.” (Rom. 12:2)

“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’” (Matt. 25:23)

 

  1. on His Word and

“…but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on His law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers.” (Ps. 1:2-3)

 

“In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to His own advantage;…” (Phil. 2:5-6)

 

2. Establish your with the mind of Christ. 

“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. ‘Eat and drink!’ he says to you, but his heart is not with you.”

(Prov. 23:7)

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10)

3. Make Goals that reflect what you

“The mind of man plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps.” (Prov. 16:9)

 

“The prudent see danger and take cover; but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.” (Prov. 27:12)
