When God Seems Silent

July 6, 2022 / Pastor Kyle Lum

“I pray to You, O Lord, my rock. Do not turn a deaf ear to me. For if You are silent, I might as well give up and die.” (Ps. 28:1 NLT)

Silence is not ABSENCE.

“After all this, LORD, must You still refuse to help us? Will You continue to be silent and punish us?” (Isa. 64:12 NLT)

Sometimes we can’t hear God because we’re tuned into the WRONG .

“He who is of God hears the words of God; for this reason you do not hear them, because you are not of God.” (John 8:47 NASB)

Turn to what you .

“The LORD is close to all who call on Him, yes, to all who call on Him in truth.” (Ps. 145:18 NLT)

What seems God’s silence is His way to .

“When the Lamb broke the seventh seal on the scroll, there was silence throughout heaven for about half an hour.” (Rev. 8:1 NLT) “Be still in the presence of the LORD. and wait patiently for Him to act.” (Ps. 37:7a NLT)
