“Mother’s Day Edition: Restoring the Family

“For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are Your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them!” (Ps. 139:13-17)

The gifts to our family….

  1. your parents because it’s tethered to your

“Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. ‘Honor your father and mother’ (which is the first commandment with a promise) ‘that it may go well with you and that you may have a long life on the earth.’”(Eph. 6:1-3)

How to honor your parents: 

“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”(Rom. 5:8)
