The Gift Of Joy

Nehemiah 8:10

“This day is holy to the Lord your God. Do not mourn. Do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”


Matthew 25:21-23

“Enter into the joy of your master.”

1 John 1:4

“And we are writing these things so that our joy may be complete.”

 

1 Corinthians 15:57

“But thanks be to God who gives us the victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

John 15:10-11

“If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. I have told you this so that My joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.”

Pastor Wayne talked about trusting in God’s plan even if you don’t see it.  What is a way that’s helped you trust God in the midst of darkness and uncertainty?


We also learned about celebrating often.  How do we begin to celebrate often instead of complaining often?
