Fight for Your Children  | Deuteronomy 6:6-9
Ephesians 6:12 “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”

Proverbs 22:6 “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”

Deuteronomy 6:6-9 “These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.”

3 steps to Prepare your children for the Spiritual Battle.

1. Personally dwell on God’s Truth (6:6).

Joshua 1:8 “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”

2. Diligently teach God’s truth to your children (6:7).

Deuteronomy 6:7 “Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”

1. Invest God’s Truth in your heart.

2. Impress God’s Truth into your child’s mind and heart.
Teach the truth.
Train them how to apply the truth.
Trust them to live the truth.

3. Share God’s Truth with your community.
