The Bible as a whole is best understood as one Epic Story.

The Bible presents one Story, which is the assimilation of various pieces of literature that all contribute to one unified plot.
Key Themes in God’s Story:
>The creation.
>The fall of man.
>The power and overwhelming presence of sin.
>The need for redemption.
>Jesus’ incarnation, sacrifice, and resurrection.

The universal plan of God was to restore man’s relationship with God.  

Is the Biblical Story still relevant today?

With the Dead Sea Scrolls there is a 98% similarity to the texts that are in use today.

Romans 15:4 “For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.”

The Story of the Bible has an Epic Impact.

Romans 12:2a “Do not conform to the pattern of this world…”

Romans 12:2b “…but be transformed by the renewing of your mind”.

The most effective way to renew your mind is by spending time reading and applying the Bible.

Psalm 19:8 (KJV) “The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.”
