Daniel 9:25 “Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince, there shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks…” (NKJV).

“weeks” literally means “sevens.”
“seven” denotes “seven years.”
seven weeks (49 years)
sixty-two weeks (434 years)
69 weeks of years (483 years)

Where: Bethlehem

Luke 2:1-5 “In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. 2 (This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.) 3 And everyone went to their own town to register. 4 So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5 He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child.”Reasons for a Census:

1. To provide an accurate account of the size of its military strength.

2. To update the record for taxation purposes.

Reasons why Bethlehem was the exact location to welcome the Messiah
1. The Messiah was to be from the family line of King David.

Jeremiah 23:5
“The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land.”

Psalm 132:11 The Lord swore an oath to David, a sure oath he will not revoke: “One of your own descendants I will place on your throne.”

Matthew 1:1 “This is the genealogy of Jesus the Messiah the son of David, the son of Abraham.”

Luke 2:11 “Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”

2. The prophet predicted the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem.

Micah 5:2 “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.”

Luke 2:6-7 “While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger because there was no guest room available for them.”God put into motion His plan to save man from our sins.
