More Than | God is Moving – Ephesians 3:20-21
Miracle
“an unusual or wonderful event that is believed to be caused by the power of God.”

Ephesians 3:20-21 “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”

power – dunamis – dynamite
work – energeia- energy

1 Samuel 17:11 “On hearing the Philistine’s words, Saul and all the Israelites were dismayed and terrified.”

1 Samuel 17:32“Let no one lose heart on account of this Philistine; your servant will go and fight him”.

1 Samuel 17:36 “Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them because he has defied the armies of the living God.”

Keys to follow when Facing Giants:

1. Remember the times in the past when God moved.

Matthew 19:26 “…With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” 

Judges 6:14 “The Lord turned to him and said, “Go in the strength you have and save Israel out of Midian’s hand. Am I not sending you?”

Judges 7:22 “When the three hundred trumpets sounded, the Lord caused the men throughout the camp to turn on each other with their swords.”

Luke 8:24 “The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Master, Master, we’re going to drown!” He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm.”

2. Prepare to face the giant.

When you fight a giant, focus on our all-powerful God who brings down giants, and not just on the giant.

1 Samuel 17:40 “Then he took his staff in his hand, chose five smooth stones from the stream, put them in the pouch of his shepherd’s bag and, with his sling in his hand, approached the Philistine.”

3. Go Fight the Giant.

It was time for NCC to face our Giant.

4. Praise God for the Victory
