Jesus His disciples to pray and offers us these principles. (Luke 11:1-4)

  • First, Prayer with God- “Father, hallowed be Your name”
  • Second, Prayer is about
  • Third, Prayer involves getting with God and others
  • Fourth, Prayer needs to be  (vs 5-10)

Questions to Consider

  1. What are some of the excuses you use for not praying?
  2. Read Luke 11:1-13. What does Jesus say we should do to pray effectively?
  3. Most of us would agree that we don’t pray enough.  What goals could you make that might help you increase the amount of time you spend in prayer?  Who could you tell that might help you be consistent with those goals?
