Rom. 11:36 gives us the triple effect of prayer.
FROM Him: Effective prayer is anchored in His purpose.
Everything in the Christian life, including prayer, with God.

THROUGH Him: Effective prayer is accomplished by God’s power.
God gives us the to pray. (Rom. 3:11; 8:5-7, 15)

TO Him: Effective prayer focuses on His praise

Components of prayer:
Petition: Asking God for something for yourself.
Intercession: Asking on behalf of others.
Thanksgiving: Gratitude expressed to God for what He has given.
Praise: Lavishing love and worship on God for who He is.
The first most effective prayer you will ever pray is to Him into your life.
