What Believers Can Learn from Abraham’s Serial Deception

• It was an act of cowardice.

• It was an act of dishonor.

• It was an act of recklessness.

• It’s an act of repetition.

You sin when you bring into your new life. (v.11-13)

Your matters more to God than your happiness or even your safety. (Rom. 12:2; Ps. 139:23-24; II Tim. 2:22; I Peter 2:11; James 4:4a; 7-8)

God will not let you suffer beyond His to you. (vv. 3, 6, 18)

Despite your failure, God still has a for you. (v. 7; John 21:15-19)

Ultimately, our is all God remembers. (vv. 17-18; Heb. 11:8-9, 17; Rom. 4:3)

God’s Desired Character Arc for the Believer: Leave, Live, Believe, Surrender.
