Heartcry is expressing my deepest prayers and petition to God, as His desires become mine.

Four Types of Heartcry

1. The Repentant Heartcry
2. The Heartcry

This heartcry involves a voracious for with God. (Ps. 42:1-5)

To be spiritually ravenous is to understand what you would be Christ.

(Ps. 63:1-8)

3. The Heartcry

There are 2 kinds of requests:

Petition: Asking for ourselves

Intercession: Asking for others

Petitionary requests are beneficial because it demonstrates on God. (James 4:2; Luke 11:11-13)

Intercessory requests are beneficial because it’s part of a ministry.

(Rom. 8:26-27)
