Heartcry is expressing my deepest prayers and petition to God, as His desires become mine.

Four Types of Heartcry (Just one this week!)

  1. The Heartcry

“Repent” literally means “ your.”

“Repent” does not mean “ from your .”

Without repentance, salvation is impossible. (Lk. 13:3; Acts 2:38; 17:30)

When I repent, I change my mind about two things:

  1. Who I am.

I am…

In need of (Rom. 6:23)

  1. Who Jesus is.

I affirm…

His own testimony concerning His . (John 14:6)

Who He is in to me. (Rom. 10:9)

There are two types of grief related to sin in Scripture:

For the believer, the repentant heartcry is about your new in Christ.

(Rom. 8:12; Micah 7:18)
