LIFE IN THE THIRD PERSON

“The Intercession of the Holy Spirit”

Rom. 8:26-30

What are two things believers uniquely benefit from?

The of the Spirit

The Spirit’s help is constantly because we are constantly . (v. 26a; II Cor. 12:9)

The Spirit’s to the Father allows Him to pray for us in ways we cannot. (v. 26b-27)

The of God

God doesn’t promise that all our problems eventually go away; He promises that He will uses all issues of life to draw us to Him. (vv.28-29)

The totality of the believer’s depends on a sovereign God. (v.30)

Because of Him, you are:

Predestined

Called

Justified

Glorified

Without reliance on the Spirit’s help and God’s sovereignty, there is no practical between a believer and an unbeliever.

Therefore, there are four things we can do…

  1. weakness and welcome the Spirit’s help.
  2. Be by knowing He prays on our behalf.
  3. God to work out the details of our present situation for His glory and purpose.
  4. in the security of our salvation from beginning to end.
