“The Parable of the Weeds”

Matthew 13:24-43

The Parable of the Weeds (Matt. 13:24-30) is the of the kingdom in the church age.

The present, imperfect form of the kingdom on earth is characterized by the following:

It is . (vv.37-38a; Acts 17:30)
There are possessors of grace. (v.38b)
There are professors of faith. (vv.25, 38; Jude 4; Gal. 2:4)
Kingdom people are by their fruit. (v.26)
This is a period for God’s to work. (vv.27-30; II Peter 3:4, 9, 15)
This period will eventually give way to God’s . (vv.30; 39b-42)
All of it serves the purpose of His . (v.43)
