Message #7: “GROWING TOGETHER”

Ephesians 4:1-16

We, as Christians, are in the process of growing up. (vv.1-3)

Why has God designed us to be in community?

1. We are made in God’s image, and He is . (vv.4-6; Gen. 1:1, 26; 2:18)
2. Community is the best way to celebrate that all Christians are . (vv.7-11)
3. Community is where you can be to use your gifts. (v.12)

Two meanings for this word:

• (Gal. 6:1; Matt. 4:21)

• (II Tim. 3:16-17; Matt. 28:19-20; I Cor. 12:7)

1. God evaluates a church is according to the combined of its total members. (v.13)
2. in belief (v.13a)
3. In with Jesus. (v.13b)

…and of the knowledge of the Son of God

1. Exhibiting (v.13c)

to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,
