Summer of Psalms:
Why We Worship While We Wait

(Psalm 33)

  • Waiting on God means I learn to live on what I know to be true about God when I don’t know what’s true about my life. – Mark Vroegop

We worship while we wait: why?

  1. Because of what God enjoys.

God enjoys us. God enjoys our worship. God enjoys our enjoyment of Him.

  2. Because of who God is.

  3. Because of what God does.

The word of the Lord created the world.

The plan of the Lord guides history.

The eye of the Lord watches over his people.
