Living out Psalm 40: 

• Don’t be surprised when you experience pits of desperation.
• Don’t assume you are struggling because of your sin.
• Don’t fear bringing your struggles to God.
• Don’t be surprised that you are waiting.
• Don’t equate God’s presence with your circumstances.

• Don’t underestimate how your loving presence helps others.

• Don’t forget in the dark what you learned in the light.
• Don’t place your confidence in your faith but in God’s faithful love.
