(Psalm 16)

The Bible teaches that what is the most pleasurable is what is best for us! Psalm 16 shows that God is not only the source of all good things,God is the ultimately good thing. God is not only the source of the best things in life, God is the best thing in life.

God is not only the giver of the best pleasures, He is the ultimate pleasure.

1. Lord, you are my refuge and my strength.

2. Lord, you are my authority and my good.

God’s people give us joy.

Choosing other gods/sin decreases our joy and increases our sorrows. 

3. Lord, you are my wealth and my inheritance.

“Give us this day our daily bread.”

4. Lord, you are my guide and my stability.

5. Lord, you are my hope and my future.

6. Lord, you are my joy and my pleasure.
