Ever wonder why God chose Joseph?

Four Reasons Why God Chose Joseph:

1. Patience Matthew 1:22-24

God chose Joseph to be Jesus’ earthly father because in a spiritual dilemma he was willing to wait for the right answer.

Men usually want quick solutions!

2. Honor Matthew 1:19

God chose Joseph to be Jesus’ earthly father because He knew that Joseph would be the type of man who would honor his wife.

In the June issue of the American Journal of Preventive Medicine a survey of 3,429 women found that 44 percent have experienced violence at the hands of their mate.

3. Obedience Matthew 1:24

God chose Joseph to be Jesus’ earthly father because he was the type of man who would obey God’s Word.

Joseph teaches us a simple lesson. It is easier to obey God now if you know what He has said to you in the past through His Word.
