New Seasons…Now what?

Ps 37:25 (NASU)

  1. I have been young and now I am old,

Yet I have not seen the righteous  forsaken

Or his descendants begging bread. NASU

From the: [American dictionary of the English language-Noah Webster 1828]

  • Season – Literally signifies that which comes or arrives; and in the general sense, is synonymous with time.
  • Season-The primary sense, like that of time and opportunity, … to arrive and this word seems to be allied to seize and assess; to fall on, to seize on.
  • One of the four divisions of the year, spring, summer, autumn, winter.
    • To be in season, to be in good time or sufficiently early for the purpose.
    • To be out of season, to be too late, beyond the proper time, or beyond the usually appointed time.

Eccl 3:1(NKJV)

  1. To everything there is a season,

A time for every purpose under heaven:

Eccl 3:1(NASU)

  1. There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven

Eccl 3:1(AMP)

  1. TO EVERYTHING there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven:

So, “New Season – Now What?”

Eccl 3:2-8 (NASU)

  1. A time to give birth and a time to die;

A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted.

  1. A time to kill and a time to heal;

A time to tear down and a time to build up.

  1. A time to weep and a time to laugh;

A time to mourn and a time to dance.

  1. A time to throw stones and a time to gather stones;

A time to embrace and a time to shun embracing.

  1. A time to search and a time to give up as lost;

A time to keep and a time to throw away.

  1. A time to tear apart and a time to sew together;

A time to be silent and a time to speak.

  1. A time to love and a time to hate;

A time for war and a time for peace.

So, with all that in mind; “New Season…Now What?”

Where do we go from here?

Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NASU)

  1. He has made everything appropriate in its time. He has also set eternity in their heart,

All that to say, that God is ALWAYS at work in us, so “New Season…Now What?”

  1. – [Pray without ceasing. 1 Thes 5:17 (NKJV)]
    1. Before
    2. During
    3. After
  2. – [Prov 4:26 (NKJV) Ponder the path of your feet,

And let all your ways be established.]

  1. What did God Say?
  2. What adjustments do I need to make?
  3. Remain thankful throughout
  1. – [1 Peter 1:13 (NASU) Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.]
    1. What do I need to let go of?
    2. What do I need to hold on to?
    3. What do I need to add?
  2. [Rom 14:19 (NASU) So then we pursue the things which make for peace and the building up of one another.]
    1. Be committed to having a “God” awareness in each season [whether I feel Him or not He is with me]
    2. Follow through and lean into the “NEW SEASON”
    3. Repeat steps 1 to 4😊

Closing thought from the Bible Re-Cap:

  1. God, give me wisdom, knowledge, and understanding in each season.
  2. Let any knowledge I gain help me love You and others more and not puff me up in each season.
  3. Help me see something new about You that I’ve never seen before in each season.
  4. Correct any lies I believe about You or anything I misunderstand in each season.
  5. Direct my steps according to Your Word in each season. Amen.
