God is For Your Good

Romans 8:28-30 NIV

Romans 8:28 may well be the hardest promise in all of Scripture to believe. But it holds the power to change your life now and forevermore.

Caution: What happens when verse 28 is separated from vv.29-30?

Verse 28:

This is a promise of God.

works = synergy

This is a promise of God…for the people of God.

Those who love him….called

The purpose!

Verse 29:

Christ conformity (what’s predestined)
Foreknew – God knows who will respond in faith
Firstborn – God is building a family

Verse 30:

Called – those who love God and respond in faith
Justified – receiving the righteousness of Jesus
Glorified – full and final healing and restoration
