Jesus’ Pattern for Prayer:

1. Seek God’s Presence.

“Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.” Matthew 6:9b

2. Seek God’s Priorities.

“Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10

“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33

3. Seek God’s Provision.

“Give us this day our daily bread.” Matthew 6:11

4. Seek God’s Pardon.

“And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.” Matthew 6:12

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”          I John 1:9

5. Seek God’s Power.

“And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.” Matthew 6:13
