Greater Than…

When we’re in the storms of Life we need to:

1. Remember His Presence.

“That day when evening came, Jesus said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” Mark 4:35

“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.” Isaiah 43:1-2

“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5

2. Rely on His Power.

“He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.” Mark 4:39

“Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.” Jeremiah 32:17

“With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”  Matthew 19:26

3. Rest in His Promise.

“The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?” Mark 4:38

“Cast all your anxiety on him because He cares for you.” I Peter 5:7

Sometimes He calms the storms around us; sometimes He calms the storms within us.
