“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.”  Matthew 5:8

“pure in heart” means: to be a person of integrity……



Living With Integrity:

  • Brings Personal Stability To Our Lives….

“Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.”      Proverbs 10:9 

“If you do the right thing, integrity will be your guide. But if you are crooked, you will be trapped by your own dishonesty.”   Proverbs 11:3

  • Builds a Godly Legacy In Our Lives….

“The godly walk with integrity; blessed are their children who follow them.”    Proverbs 20:7


How to Grow in Integrity:

  1. Keep Your Word.

“People who promise things that they never give are like clouds and wind that bring no rain.”         Proverbs 25:14 

“But let your word ‘yes’ be ‘yes,’ and your ‘no’ be ‘no.’ Anything more than this is from the evil one.”    Matthew 5:37

 

  1. Refuse to Gossip.

“Anyone who spreads gossip is a fool.”  Proverbs 10:18

 “A gossip can’t be trusted with a secret, but someone of integrity won’t violate a confidence.”        Proverbs 11:13

 

  1. Work Hard.

“One who is slack in his work is brother to one who destroys.”      Proverbs 18:9

“Slack habits and sloppy work are as bad as vandalism.”   Proverbs 18:9

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not to men.”           Colossians 3:23

 

  1. Be Real.

Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good.”  Romans 12:9
