“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:3

“Poor in Spirit” does not mean:

Financial Poverty

Poor Self-Worth

False Humility

Poor (Ptochos) means to be totally and completely desperate, helpless and powerless

When we come to understand how poor we are in spirit;
we then realize how rich we really are in faith because of Him!!!
