Summer in the Psalms (Psalms 20 & 21)

August 21, 2022 / Cody Jenkins

We pray because we trust
in the name of the Lord.

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.      Psalm 20:7 (ESV)

We rejoice because
we trust in the Lord.

O Lord, in your strength the king rejoices, and in your salvation how greatly he exults!           Psalm 21:1 (ESV)

For the king trusts in the Lord, and through the steadfast love of the Most High he shall not be moved.             Psalm 21:7 (ESV)

We expect because
we trust in the Lord.

Your hand will find out all your enemies; your right hand will find out those who hate you…Though they plan evil against you, though they devise mischief, they will not succeed.                                                                                    Psalm 21:8; 11 (ESV)

What do you need
to entrust to the Lord?
