My identity “in Christ”:

1. I Am Totally Accepted By Him Because I Am Chosen in Him.

I Don’t Have to Live for Acceptance;
I Can Live Because I Am Accepted!!!

2. I Am Extremely Valuable To Him Because I Have Been Bought By Him.

“I Don’t Have To Live Trying To Prove I’m Valuable; I Can Live Because He’s Already Proven I Am Valuable!!!

3. I Am Deeply Loved By Him Because I Matter to Him.

“Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.”  I Peter 2:10

“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”  I John 4:7-8

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”  John 3:16

“This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.”      I John 4:9-10

I Don’t Have to Live Trying to Earn His Love; I Can Live Because I Am Already Deeply Loved By Him!!!

4. I Am Completely Forgiven By Him Because I Belong To Him.

“For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.”    Psalm 103:11-12

“I, even I, am the One Who takes away your sins because of Who I am. And I will remember your sins no more.”    Isaiah 43:25

 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”         I John 1:9

God’s forgiveness is not based upon how we feel; His forgiveness is based upon what Christ felt for us on the cross so that we could be forgiven!!!

I Don’t Have to Live Trying to Earn His Forgiveness; I Can Live in Light of the Fact that “in Him” I Am Forgiven!!!
