Going Back to the Gospel
John 3:16
———————-
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
John 3:16 (NASB95)
Are we willing to ask the real ?
Are we willing to receive the real , even if they may not be what we expect them to be?
1. God’s – “For God so loved the world,”
God loves us because He to love us.
2. God’s – “that He gave His only begotten Son,”
9 God’s love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his one and only Son into the world so that we might live through him. 10 Love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:9-10 (CSB)
3. Our – “that whoever believes in Him”
Repent and the good news! Mark 1:15 (CSB)
But to all who did receive him, he gave them the right to be children of God, to those who in his name. John 1:12 (CSB)
9 If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 One with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation. Romans 10:9-10 (CSB)
4. Our – “shall not perish,”
5. Our – “but have eternal life.”
Truly I tell you, anyone who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not come under judgment but has passed from death to life. John 5:24 (CSB)
